Good Samaritan Society opens a New Memory Care Home in Pine River
Pine River, Minn. (October, 2007) — Good Samaritan Society Pine River is proud to announce the grand opening and Dedication Ceremony of Riverside Memory Care, a Memory Care home that is are part of the Good Samaritan Society’s campus in Pine River, MN.
The project is sponsored by the Good Samaritan Communities of Brainerd and Pine River and funded through the CSSD grant.
The grand opening of Riverside Memory Care, which is located at 2175 White Pine Point Rd, SW, right next to Riverside Senior Living Apartments in Pine River, will be from 2–7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15th. Tours will take place from 2–3 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. A ribbon cutting and dedication will take place at 3:00 p.m. followed by a Chamber sponsored Business after Hours social time from 4–7:00 p.m. Refreshments and Hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the day.
“We would like to thank the community for such wonderful support of our campus expansion” said Pat Johnson, housing manager of Good Samaritan Society Riverside Senior Living Apartments.
River Side Memory Care will offer Residents a loving Christian environment with specific Assisted Living services geared to those who have Memory Loss, from early stages of dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other Memory Loss disorders. Our unique setting will provide 24 hour care with specially trained staff, a secure environment and a wide rage on activities that encourage family participation and support.
“We are so excited to have this new building ready to serve our community” Administrator Brian Larsen said.
Samaritan House will be part of Good Samaritan Society Pine River Campus, which includes Pine River Care Center an 84 Skilled Nursing Facility, Pine River Therapy Center, 36 senior living apartments, and services through Good Samaritan Society Home Care and Hospice.
Good Samaritan Society Pine River is part of The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, the nation’s largest not-for-profit healthcare organization, founded in 1922.
